New Beginnings at Winter House by Emily Harvale @rararesources **Book Review**

Happy weekend all!

It’s always a good day when I get to review an Emily Harvale book! The perfect blend of romance, Drama, Mystery, small town, and charm!

New Beginnings at Wynter House

The New Year brings unexpected revelations at Wynter House.

Neva Grey’s Christmas brought several surprises. Now a shocking secret has life-changing consequences for the Wynters, as the New Year brings revelations … and relatives to Wynter House.

It also brings Hazel Smart and Amelia Goodbody. And it’s not just Adam and Rafe Wynter who are pleased Hazel and Amelia have come to stay. Olivia Wynter will enjoy bossing nurse Hazel around and she also makes it clear Amelia – who is handling the marketing for Rafe’s new business venture – is far more suited to be her grandson’s girlfriend than Neva will ever be.

Whilst Amelia is ensconced at Wynter House, Neva is busy with her new hair and beauty salon in Merriment Bay. Perhaps she should enlist her niece, Sasha’s help because just when she thought she had found the love of her life, old secrets, ghosts from the past, and new arrivals might shatter all her dreams.

At least she has her best friend, Jo Duncan to lean on. But newly single, Jo is determined to have some fun, both at Wynter House and in Merriment Bay. And so is Adam Wynter.

This is book two in the Wyntersleap series but it can be read as a standalone. The Wyntersleap series is interlinked with the Merriment Bay series and several characters appear in both series.

My Thoughts

I am loving this new series especially how it is intertwined with the Merriment Bay series! Do you know what would make this perfect Emily? If they all took a road trip to Little Pondale… just saying I think Mia and Neva would be fast friends. But I digress… anyone who has followed my reviews for any amount of time knows I am a huge fan of Emily Harvale. She writes the perfect cozy romances with enchanting characters, lovely settings, and engaging storylines. The blurb of this book states that it can be read as a standalone, but I think it will be better enjoyed if you have read the first book and you’re going to want to anyways after you’ve read this. This book focuses on Winter House and its secrets. Neva and Rafe seem to be in a good place, but Olivia is none too pleased about it. We have a few new characters in this story: Hazel who is Olivia‘s nurse, Amelia who is working for Rafe, and Jo Who is Neva’s BFF. All three of these ladies seem to have caught the eye of Adam, even though Olivia is pushing Amelia toward Rafe. I have to say Olivia is a great character that you just love to hate. Just loved revisiting Winter House and all these amazing characters. I think part of the magic of Emily‘s writing is how she creates these relatable, lovable, down to earth characters that really draw you into their lives. The perfect blend of romance, Drama, Mystery, small town, and charm. Cannot wait for the next book in this delightful series. I really cannot encourage you strongly enough to pick up any of Miss Harvale’ss books and enjoy the entertaining lovely little escape. Seriously each of her stories is its own little gem!
